Alison Doody

Alison Doody (born 11 November 1966) is a famous Irish actress and model. Following her small debut part as an archaeologist Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, 1989's Elsa Schneider - a Nazi-sympathizing character - in A View to a Kill (Bond film, 1985), she went onto portray the Nazi-sympathizing Elsa Schneider. Siobhan in A Prayer for the Dying, Charlotte in Taffin and Rebecca Flannery Major League II. Doody was approached by a photographer and began to take on the role of model. Doody then began to build an industry-wide career in commercial modeling. Doody was adamantly against glamour and nude work a clause which was extended to her acting career. After nearly a decade from the stage Doody was back in the acting world by playing a minor role in the 2003's British comedy movie The Actors with Michael Caine acting as herself in an award ceremony scene. The year 2004, she starred with Patrick Swayze alongside a TV adaptation of King Solomon's Mines. Also Doody was as a character in Benjamin's Struggle (2005), which was a pamphlet that described the Holocaust. In 2010, Doody was a character of Danny Dyer's movie The Rapture (2010). The Clinic, a medical drama on RTE. The Asphyx was the 2011 version of her film. Pam Jefferson was her character in the E4 comedy Beaver Falls for two seasons. In 2014, she was on the show as Pam Jefferson in We Still Kill the Old Way. In November 2018 she was awarded the Almeria tierra de Cine Award and received a Star on Almeria's Walk of Fame.
