Rena Sofer
Rena Sherel Sofer (born on December 2 1968) is an American actress and model, well-known for her roles on the daytime network, in episodic guest appearances and made-for-television movies. Sofer won the Daytime Emmy Award 1995 for her role as Lois Cerullo of the soap opera General Hospital. From 2013 to 2022, she played the character of Quinn Fuller on the CBS soap opera The Bold and the Beautiful.
Childhood and early life
Sofer was born in Arcadia (California) The daughter of Susan Sofer (nee Franzblau) who is a psychologist, as well as Martin Sofer, who is a Orthodox Rabbi.
She moved with her dad and brother David to Teaneck, New Jersey, in 1970. But, Sofer lived in Western Pennsylvania when she was a kid. They resided in Ambridge, Pennsylvania, where her father led Beth Samuels Jewish Center. She attended the Frisch School, a coeducational Modern Orthodox Jewish highschool in Paramus (New Jersey). Sofer was born in North Bergen where her father was the synagogue's rabbi Temple Beth El. After graduating from North Bergen High School she went to Montclair State College.
Career
Television during the daytime
Lois Marie Cerullo was the first Lois Marie Cerullo that Sofer was a part of on General Hospital. In 1993, she was the manager of a band. Her first appearance on television was as Rocky McKenzie, a daytime soap production that revolved around Loving (1988-91).
